No. 6 Spartans Return Home to Face No. 23 Eagles
TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Spartans will return to Naimoli Family Field to face off against Sunshine State Conference, and NFCA ranked opponent, the Embry-Riddle Eagles.

About the Spartans: The Spartans return home seven spots higher on the NFCA Coaches Poll and are on a 12 game winning streak after sweeping the last two series on the road against the Saint Leo Lions and the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish. At the plate, Alexa Russo, Lexie Chevalier, and Stephanie Balmer tallied a home run and at least three RBI during their time away. Russo has registered at least one hit in the last eight games. Mariah Galhouse and Mary Beth Feldman have split most of the responsibility from the circle as of late, with Corynn Miner throwing one of the last six games and Kate DeSimone pitching one inning.
About the Eagles: The Eagles travel to Tampa looking to extend their winning streak of six games. Their last series against the Eckerd Tritons resulted in a quick sweep as two of the three games ended in a run rule. The Eagles registered 33 hits, three doubles, three triples, and three home runs in the series sweep over Eckerd and enter this series against the Spartans with a .291 batting average.
