Spartans Score Back to Back Wins Against Conference Rival Eagles
TAMPA, Fla. – Mary Beth Feldman led the way in the redemption efforts for the Spartans after being stunned by the Eagles in the series opener on Friday night.

The first inning was 3 up, 3 down for both teams. Alexa Russo had a single in the 2nd but was left on base. In the 3rd, Mariah Galhouse singled to right field and stole second base but never made it home. Bottom 3 | 0-0

Lexie Chevalier got to first on an error by the Eagles shortstop and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Emalee Jansen. Chevalier would be moved to third on a ground out. Kiester hit a walk-off single to center to score Chevalier. Bottom 7 | 1-0 Tampa

- Feldman threw a perfect game in game one making it the 8th perfect game in program history and the first since 2002 against an SSC opponent. Feldman is the first Spartan to throw a perfect game since Julia Morrow in 2015.
