No. 8 Spartans Set to Host Tars for Final Home Series of Regular Season
TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa will host Sunshine State Conference opponent Rollins this weekend. The schedule has been adjusted due to the anticipation of poor weather. The doubleheader is now on Friday at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm; Saturday will be the final game of the series starting at 2:00 pm.

About the Spartans: The Spartans are coming off a series sweep over the Fighting Knights, allowing only one run in the series. Mary Beth Feldman and Mariah Galhouse have shared responsibility from the circle. Feldman (12-1) registered a .47 ERA, with 80 strikeouts in 90 innings pitched. Galhouse (13-7) has recorded a .80 ERA, with 79 strikeouts in 130.2 innings. She proves to be helpful at the plate, with 24 runs scored, one homer, and 17 RBI on the season. Also necessary for the Spartan's batting order are Lilly Kiester and Lauren Fantone.
