TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 1 University of Tampa softball team takes the rubber match over St. Leo to keep their undefeated series win streak at nine straight.

HOW IT HAPPENED — GAME ONE:
- After a scoreless five innings, Camryn Wineinger broke the scoreless drought with a bloop single over St. Leo's third baseman to bring home Lauren Fantone for the game's first run. End 6 | 1-0 Tampa
INSIDE THE STATS — GAME ONE:
- Freshman Gwen McGinnis received her ninth win in the circle this season. She is now 9-0. McGinnis pitched all 7 innings, striking out 2; while allowing 0 runs on 5 hits.
- Wineinger: 2-3 & RBI
HOW IT HAPPENED — GAME TWO:
- Kate DeSimone would work her first at-bat of the game to a three-two count before hitting a rope back up the middle to bring home Mariah Galhouse for Tampa's first run. End 2 | 1-0 Tampa
- After singles from Fantone and Lilly Kiester, Wineinger would smash a 2-run triple off the center-field wall to expand the Spartan's lead. Wineinger would then come in to score later in the inning on a fielding error by St. Leo. End 3 | 4-0 Tampa
- Kiester would go the other way with an outside fastball to bring home Fantone. End 4 | 5-1 Tampa
INSIDE THE STATS — GAME TWO:
- Senior Mary Beth Feldman received her eleventh win in the circle this season. She is now 11-0. Feldman pitched 5 innings, striking out 0, allowing 1 run, 6 hits, and 1 walk.
