
Spartans get Shutout in Game One
TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 1 University of Tampa Softball Team gets shutout in game one of Super Regionals
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

Records: Tampa 43-4 (28-2 SSC), Nova-Southeastern 42-13 (22-8 SSC)

All-Time Series: Despite the Spartan's dominance over the Sharks of 37-26, NSU took care of game one.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After three scoreless, the Sharks would strike first with four runs in the fourth. | 4-0 NSU, Mid 4th
- The Spartans would only get two runners to second base throughout the game. Tampa's offensive struggles couldn't have come at the worst time, as they lost game one.
INSIDE THE STATS :
- Senior Mariah Galhouse would get the start in the circle. Galhouse received her fourth loss of the season. She is now 14-4 after going all 7 innings giving up 4 runs on 9 hits and striking out 2.

UP NEXT:
The Spartans will try to bounce back tomorrow to secure a spot in their first-ever Women's College S0ftball World Series appearance for the program. They will have to take care of business in both games tomorrow. Game one will be at 3:00 PM.
