West Palm Beach, Fla. - No. 3 Tampa picks up where they left off last week beating Palm Beach Atlantic in game one of a three game series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Tampa's pitcher Kate DeSimone had a stellar performance, pitching a complete game shutout while only allowing 2 hits and striking out 3 batters.
• Tampa's offense was led by Kinnah Kreidler, who had a key double in the 5th inning to drive in a run. Lauren Fantone also contributed with a sacrifice fly to bring in another run.
• On the other side, Palm Beach Atlantic struggled to get their offense going, only managing 2 hits in the game. Pitcher Karen Vasquez put up a solid effort in the circle, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits while striking out 4 batters.
