TAMPA, Fla. - No. 4 Tampa Spartans dominate the Southwest Minnesota State University Mustangs in a two game series.

HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME ONE:
- Tampa got off to a quick start in the first inning, with Kinnah Kreidler driving in a run and then stealing second base, allowing another run to score.
- Tampa continued to put pressure on SMSU throughout the game, with Camryn Wineinger adding an RBI single in the fourth inning.
- SMSU tried to mount a comeback in the fourth inning, with Abby Russell and Jillian Noel each driving in a run, but they were unable to overcome Tampa's lead.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Kate DeSimone had a strong performance, allowing only 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out 9 batters in 7 innings.
- Wineinger 3-4 with one RBI.
- Kreidler 2-3 with two RBIs.
HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME TWO:
- Tampa got off to a quick start scoring four runs in the first inning as Lauren Fantone and Kinnah Kreidler led the way with key hits and RBIs.
- The Spartans continued to score throughout the game with runs coming in the second, fifth, and sixth innings to win the game by the eight run rule.
