Strong Mariah Galhouse Performances Secure Tampa Victories
TAMPA, Fla. - No. 4 Tampa sweeps Adelphi in a an exciting two game series.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:

HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME ONE:
- The game remained scoreless through the first 10 innings, with both teams putting up a strong defensive effort.
- Adelphi finally broke the deadlock in the top of the 11th inning when Jaden Farhat singled to left center, driving in Brianna Fischer to give Adelphi a 1-0 lead.
- Tampa responded in the bottom of the 11th with Mariah Galhouse coming through with a clutch hit, singling to left field and bringing in Camryn Wineinger and Lilly Kiester to score, securing the walk-off win for the Spartans.
- Pitching was a key factor in the game, with Adelphi's Lindsey Hibbs putting in a solid performance, going 10.2 innings. On the other side, Tampa's Mary Beth Feldman pitched eight shutout innings, while Gwen McGinnis earned the win in relief.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Feldman threw 74 strikes from 114 pitches, striking out 5 batters, only allowing 4 hits, giving up 0 runs.

- Tampa got off to a quick start in the bottom of the 1st inning with Mariah Galhouse hitting a two run RBI single bringing in Lauren Fantone and Lilly Kiester.
- The Spartans added to thier score in the 3rd inning when Megan deVilliers hit her third home run of the season.
- Tampa sealed the victory in the 6th inning with an RBI single by Stephanie Balmer.

- Galhouse earned her 10th win of the season pitching all 7.0 innings for the Spartans. She struck out 5 batters, allowed 5 hits, giving up 0 runs.
- Galhouse 2-3 with two RBIs
- deVilliers 2-3 with one RBI and one home run.
