HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME ONE:
- Tampa got things started in the bottom of the 3rd when Kinnah Kreidler singled up the middle, scoring in Stephanie Balmer, and Lilly Kiester advanced to third who then scored on a throwing error by the Sharks center fielder. Camryn Wineinger would add to the score in the bottom of the 3rd hitting a sacrifice fly allowing Kreidler to reach home plate.
- Nova Southeastern got a run of their own in the 4th inning when Gianna Russo singled to right center driving in Madison Fine.
- The Spartans would respond with Kiester singling to first base bringing in Balmer and Abigail Siegel.
- In the 6th Kreidler singled to right center scoring Kiester, and Wineinger homered to left field, scoring Joey Trawick.
INSIDE THE STATS:
HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME TWO:
- The Sharks opened up the scoring in the 3rd inning with Tori Copeland hitting a single scoring in Alexis Smith.
- Top of the 6th Nova Southeastern extended thier lead with Brianna Matthews bringing in Gianna Russo. Matthews would reach home plate after Alyssa Drogemull singled up the middle.
- The Sharks would score the last run of the game with an unearned run scored by Maliyah Lawson.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- Mariah Galhouse takes the loss striking out 2 batters, allowing 9 hits, and giving up 4 runs.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will remain at home to take on No. 21 Rollins in a three game series April 5th, 2024.
