HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Choctaws got on the board early when McCall Lee flied out to center field, allowing Emily Rigney score.
- Mississippi College extended thier lead in the 3rd inning when Jordan Lafosse flied out to right field, getting Jordan Moore to home plate, Shelby Samples singled to left field, Rigney scored, and Ashley Lightcap hitting a double scoring two Chowctaw runners.
- Tampa attempted to make a comeback in the 5th inning when Megan deVilliers homered to left field, 3 RBI, Kinnah Kreidler scored, Camryn Wineinger scored.
- Lightcap would help score the last run of the game when she singled to right field, driving in Samples scored.
