As a Senior (2012-13): Served as a student assistant coach for UT.

As a Junior: Was a member of the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. She started all 27 games, averaging 35.6 minutes per game and 7.6 points per game. She had 10 points or more nine times, including a season-high of 19 points twice, last at Florida Southern (2/29). She registered 28 steals on the season, had two or more blocks three times, at least one assist in 25 games and grabbed 10 or more rebounds six times. Among her feats were recording back-to-back double-doubles in points and rebounds in February. She also averaged 6.7 rebounds per game, shot perfect from the free throw line eight times, made two or more 3-point field goals seven times and made six or more field goals four times.

As a Sophomore: SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll choice as she did not play while receiving a medical redshirt.

As a Freshman: SSC all-freshman team honoree made an immediate impact as a rookie seeing action in 30 games and starting in two. She was credited with a point in 26 games and saw double figure minutes in 21 games with the Spartans with a season high 32 minutes against Armstrong Atlantic (12/19). She scored a season-best 11 points against Florida Southern going 4-5 from the field (2/24) and tabbed a season high nine rebounds against East Stroudsburg (11/20). Smith also warned a start in the NCAA South Regional Tournament versus Barry (3/12), playing 21 minutes and scoring four points.

High School: Prior to attending Tampa, she played for Sonya Crider at Ocoee High School. She averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds a game and was the recipient of the Lancelot Award given to the team’s most outstanding player. She served as team captain and was the first player in school history to score 1,000 career points. Smith was also named to the all-Orange County team and selected to the Orlando all-metro team two years straight.

Personal: She comes from a highly successful sports family as her father, Otis, served as the general manager of the NBA’s Orlando Magic. Her cousin, Jerome Henderson, played in the NFL and is currently an assistant coach with the Cleveland Browns as she is the goddaughter of Rod Higgins, who played in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors and is currently the general manager for the Charlotte Bobcats. The athletic training major is the daughter of Otis and Carol Smith.
