Tom Jessee Serves as Featured Speaker at Southeast National Championship

FORT MYERS, Fla. - University of Tampa women's basketball coach Tom Jessee was the featured speaker to the USSSA girls basketball teams, coaches plus parents at the Southeast National Championship on Friday in Fort Myers.

Jessee, who now needs just six wins to become UT's all-time winningest women's basketball coach, is entering his 11th season at the helm of the Spartans. His .675 winning percentage is also first in program history as he ranks nationally with 376 career victories to go with a .674 clip.

After taking over a program that previously made just two NCAA tournaments, Jessee has guided the Spartans to NCAA play a total of seven times. His UT teams have participated in six of the final seven tourneys, including the lone three wins for the program in NCAA play.
