Cavallaro Repeats as SSC Player of the Week

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Junior Juliana Cavallaro, is named SSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Cavallaro was selected SSC Player of the Week from a pool of nominees for her performance during the week of December 1-7.

The 5-9, Guard from Venice, Florida scored 17 points and recorded six rebounds in a 76-75 victory at #4 Nova Southeastern. In her 31 minutes of play, Cavallaro went 3-5 from the field including 2-3 from behind the arc. She converted on 9 of 11 free throw attempts and added two steals in the victory.

Cavallaro is averaging 15.4 points per game on the season. She's shooting 50.8% from the field, 43.5% from behind the arc, and 81.8% from the line.

The Spartans will be back in action on December 16 against University of the Sciences, tip off is set at 5:30 PM.
