Junior Faith Sanders was fouled and made both of her free throws to end the Eagles run. These points did not stifle the Eagles offense as they scored a layup and three pointer back-to-back to increase their lead to 15-4. The Spartans went on a run of their own after junior Morgan Lumb hit a jumper, Sanders hit a deep three pointer, and senior Jenny Horvatinovic made a layup. This run decreased the Eagles lead to 11 points to end the first quarter.
2nd Quarter | The Eagles offense came out strong as they went on a 6-0 run to open up the second quarter. A three pointer from Horvatinovic and a layup from Sanders would end the Eagles run and make the score 37-21, Eagles advantage. The Eagles ended the quarter on a jumper that would solidify the score at 39-21 to head into half time.
3rd Quarter | Elena de Alfredo opened up the third quarter with a three pointer that would decrease the Eagle lead to 15. But the Eagles followed up with a three pointer of their own.
