HOW IT HAPPENED
1st QUARTER
It would be all Tampa to start off the first quarter, as both buckets would come from forced turnovers. The Spartans would take a commanding 11-3 lead with three minutes remaining in the quarter, with both teams going back and forth to end the quarter as the Spartans ended the quarter off of a Sydney Kin jumpshot to retain their eight point lead. 2nd QUARTER
Once again the Spartans started off strong heading into the second quarter, as Sarah Jones would contribute six straight points during the Spartans 14-2 run. The Spartans would not stop there, as they continued to pile on the pressure, giving the Barry team no hope at closing the gap to end the half. Score: 40-19 (Tampa)
3rd QUARTER
Barry came out trying to do all they could against the Spartans, but it would not be enough to close the distance. Tampa would extend the lead all the way to 24 during the quarter, Melijah Sullivan would close out the quarter for the Spartans with a jumper to keep the Spartans up comfortably. Score: 55-33 (Tampa)
4th QUARTER
It was cruise control for the Spartans during the fourth quarter, continuing to make their shots and their presence known to the Bucs. Tampa continued their run down the fourth quarter stretch as they ended it off with their largest lead of the game. Score: 74-46 (Tampa)
