HOW IT HAPPENED

1st QUARTER

After an opening basket by the Tars, the Spartans would go on an 8-0 run at the start of their scoring to take an 8-3 lead. Rollins would respond right back with nine straight to take a 12-8 lead. The Tars would keep their lead heading into the end of the quarter. | Score: 21-18 Rollins

2nd QUARTER

After Rollins stretched their three-point lead to eight, Kath Van Bennekom made two threes to start and close the Spartans' 12-4 scoring run to tie the game up at 30. However, The Tars would keep a one-possession lead for the rest of the quarter. | Score: 39-36 Rollins

3rd QUARTER

Audrey Ramsey would open the scoring in the second half with a 3-pointer to tie the game up at 39 and another one after a Tars layup. This was the start the Spartans needed.
