HOW IT HAPPENED
1st QUARTER
Spartans had the exact start that they wanted after the opening tip, starting on an 8-0 scoring run. After Eckerd's basket for their first points of the game, Zoe Piller responded with two free throws. The Spartans would keep their lead and stretch it to ten before the quarter ended. | Score: 18-8 Tampa
2nd QUARTER
The second quarter consisted of only back-and-forth basketball. Eckerd would eventually cut into Tampa's lead and cut their deficit to three before Audrey Ramsey ended the half with a three-pointer. | Score: 28-22 Tampa
