FIRST HALF: Tampa had a strong first half, capitalizing on key opportunities to build a comfortable lead. After a slow start with early turnovers, Tampa's defense stepped up with steals by Olivia Davis and Audrey Ramsey, setting the tone. Zoe Piller was dominant offensively, contributing consistently with layups, a tip-in, and critical rebounds. Marissa McDonald provided offensive firepower, scoring multiple baskets, including a crucial three-pointer late in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Tampa's precision from beyond the arc shone, with Davis hitting three consecutive three-pointers, all assisted by McDonald.
Sariana Rodriguez added to the team's momentum with a layup and jump shot, keeping Tampa's offense fluid.
