Olivia Davis added firepower with an early three-pointer and strong assists to extend Tampa's lead. Tampa's defense was resilient, with key rebounds from Sariana Rodriguez and Piller shutting down Florida Tech's scoring opportunities. Rodriguez's standout performance included both defensive stops and critical steals, culminating in her driving layup late in the half. Despite a late push from Florida Tech, Tampa maintained control with a commanding 26-19 lead, thanks to their balanced attack and defensive efforts.
