UT Plays at Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team competed at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, which was hosted by Rollins College at Tuscawilla Country Club.
In three rounds of play, Tampa shot a total of 977. UT registered rounds of 316, 331 and 330. Sunshine State Conference opponent Nova Southeastern University won the team title with an 885.
Alyssa Morahan led the Spartans, carding a 238 with rounds of 80, 81 and 77. Also competing were Jess Wild (240), Fatin Amin (245), Grace Marie Schian (248), Holly Cannon (255) and Sydney Stengel (262).
Schian recorded the top round for UT, notching a 76 in the first round of play.
The Spartans return to action on March 20-22 at the Florida Tech Invitational. The event will be played at Duran Golf Course in Viera, Fla.
