
Spartans Meet Up With SSC Competition
UT competed at Florida Southern Invite against several familiar foes.
LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 11 University of Tampa women's golf team played to a 12th-place finish at the Florida Southern Invitational.

- Heather Kipniss | 44th overall, 235

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Riihijarvi was the top Spartan golfer for the fifth time this season.
- UT's top finisher, Riihijarvi, posted rounds of 76, 81 and 77 as her first-round score represented a team-best.
- One individual was registered for UT as Lauren Fantaroni shot a 275.
- Barry's Tilda Larsson was the medalist with a 210 (-6).
- A total of 17 teams competed.
- Joining UT and team champion Nova Southeastern from the Sunshine State Conference were Saint Leo (2nd), Barry (5th), Florida Southern (6th), Lynn (7th), Rollins (9th), Florida Tech (11th), Embry-Riddle (14th), Palm Beach Atlantic (15th) and Eckerd (17th).
