Cadavid and Riley Lead Spartans to Second-Place Finish
DADE CITY, Fla. – The duo of senior Sofia Cadavid and freshman Hallie Riley led the way as the University of Tampa women's golf team played to a second-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Cadavid led the Spartans for the first time this season.
- UT was without top golfer Kiira Riihijarvi, who is competing at stage two of the 2019 LPGA and Symetra Tour Qualifying Tournament in Venice, Fla.
- Riley led all Spartans with an opening-round 73, which was also her career low round.
- Cadavid finished with a second-round 72 to finish as the tournament runner-up.
- Freshman Petronella Hjort entered as an individual and shot a two-round score of 172 to place 52nd overall.
- A total of nine teams competed.
- The Spartans finished day one in third place and moved up a spot with a 295 in round two.
- UT was joined by host Saint Leo (3rd), team champion Florida Southern, Rollins (7th), Palm Beach Atlantic (8th) and Eckerd (9th) from the Sunshine State Conference.
- Loren Perez from Florida Southern was the top golfer with a 144 and rounds of 73 and 71 to finish even.
