WGCA Tabs Kiira Riihijarvi as All-Region Member
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association has announced the 2020-21 student-athlete and coaches regional awards for Division II Women's Collegiate Golf, as well as the recipient of the Division II Kim Moore Spirit Award. University of Tampa standout Kiira Riihijarvi earned a spot on the All-South Region team for the fifth time in her career.
Riihijarvi, a senior from Oulu, Finland, is the reigning NCAA Division II National Player of the Year and currently the number-one golfer in the country. Currently competing at the 2021 NCAA Division II National Championships in Dearborn, Mich., Riihijarvi is a four-time All-American and two-time NCAA Regional champion.
