Senior Emily Montagnino Leads Spartans in Season Opener
DENTON, Texas – The University of Tampa women's golf team played to a 10th-place showing in its 2021-22 season opener, competing at the Dallas Baptist Women's Classic.

- Montagnino was the top Tampa golfer by five strokes in the season opener.
- Eckerd transfer Forstmane had the top team round for the Spartans with an opening-round 72.
- Head coach Missey Jones did not register any individuals.
- Madeline Ananthasane of North Georgia was the medalist with a 209 (-7).
- Joining UT and team champion Lynn from the Sunshine State Conference was Saint Leo (11).
