Emily Montagnino Leads UT Golf Against Field That Includes 9 Ranked Teams
MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's golf team played at the Buccaneer Invitational, competing against fellow nationally-ranked foes.

- Ella Mason | 11th overall, 223 (+10)

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Montagnino finished in the top 10 for the second time this season.
- Mason battled with the top performers throughout the tournament, finishing 11th overall. This was the best finish for the sophomore.
- Montagnino and Mason each shot a 73 in the first round on Monday, marking the low round for a Spartan individual. Mason also shot a 73 in round two.
- Mason registered a career-best with her 73 in rounds one and two, as she entered with a previous best of 76 this season.
- A total of 12 teams competed.
- Ellen Andersson from Nova Southeastern was the individual medalist with a 213.
- The event included nine Sunshine State Conference schools.
- The Spartans are ranked No. 10 in the nation, and were one of nine nationally-ranked teams at the tournament.UT was just four strokes behind No. 1 Lynn and the tournament champion, Nova Southeastern, comes in at No. 3.
- Tampa also features nationally-ranked individuals, including No. 19 Jimenez-Rios, No. 27 Forstmane, and No. 64 Montagnino.
