
Ana Maria Jimenez Rios Concludes Season at NCAA National Championships
WINTER GARDEN, Fla. - University of Tampa junior golfer Ana Maria Jimenez Rios played at the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championships after advancing with a fourth-place regional effort.
Jimenez Rios finished 23rd in the nation as she wrapped up the three rounds of competition with birdies in four of the final five holes at Orange County National Golf Course.
The Merida, Mexico, native, would finish with a three-round score of 218. After carding rounds of 75 in the first and second rounds, Jimenez Rios shot a 68 in round three on Thursday.
Among Thursday's participants, Jimenez Rios registered the second-best score of round three with a 68. Additionally, she was one of just 17 golfers to record a sub-70 round.
