Fall Season Concludes For Tampa Women's Golf
DAVENPORT, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's golf team competed in the Rollins Legends Invitational held at ChampionsGate Country Club in Davenport, Florida, from November 3-4, 2024, completing the fall season. The Spartans finished ninth overall in a field of 10 teams, with a total score of 908 (+44) on the par-72, 6109-yard course.
Flagler College (+4, 868) took the team title, as Rollins College served as the host.
Top Tampa Golfers
- Ana Maria Jimenez Rios led the Spartans with a solid performance, finishing tied for 17th with rounds of 73-75-75 for a total of 223 (+7).
- Silvia Barnes placed tied for 37th, scoring 229 (+13) across three rounds.
- Ella Mason finished tied for 40th, with scores of 75-80-76 for a total of 231 (+15).
- Grace Ward followed closely, tied for 45th, with rounds of 82-76-76 for a total of 234 (+18).
- Maria Mora finished tied for 50th, carding a total of 238 (+22) after rounds of 77-76-85.
