Spartans Conclude Regular Season at Lynn Invite

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's golf team closed out the Lynn Invite with an impressive final round, moving up the leaderboard to finish tied for 9th place with a total score of 901 (+37) at Boca Woods Country Club.

Tampa improved its performance in each round, posting scores of 305, 303, and a tournament-best 293 in the final round. The Spartans were among a strong 14-team field, which was led by host Lynn University, who took the team title with an 862 (-2) total.

Top Performers for Tampa

• Leading the way for the Spartans was Ana Maria Jimenez, who tied for 24th place with a total score of 223 (+7), highlighted by a solid final-round 72 (E).
• Kelly Shanahan followed closely, tying for 26th at 224 (+8) after back-to-back rounds of 73 to close the tournament.
• Justine Bayle also delivered a strong finish, carding a final-round 72 to end in a tie for 34th at 226 (+10).
• Ella Mason posted a total of 228 (+12).
• Maria Mora rounded out the Tampa lineup, finishing at 242 (+26).

Final Team Standings

Tampa shared 9th place with Lander University, both finishing at 901 (+37). Lynn University captured the team title at 862 (-2), followed by Grand Valley State (872, +8) and Dallas Baptist (874, +10).
