TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa Spartans dropped a 17-4 mid week contest to the Seton Hill University Griffins Tuesday night at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex. The Spartans drop to 3-5, while Seton Hill improves to 3-0.
Four different starters recorded goals, as Amanda Voges, Emilie Barbosa, Natalie Carraway, and Kirsten Brierley each put the Spartans on the board.
The Griffins struck early and often as they scored the first nine goals of the game. They entered the half leading the Spartans 10-1. In the second half of the game, Seton Hill continued their streak, as they scored seven goals in the second half.
On the night, Tampa collected 11 ground balls and won eight draw controls.
