Spartans Look To Charm Fifth Ranked Mocs
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa Spartans are set to welcome in the fifth ranked Florida Southern College Moccasins into the Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex. This marks the final regular season game for the Spartans.
UT enters the matchup with a 5-10 record, and 0-3 in Sunshine State Conference play. FSC comes in with a 16-2 record, and 2-0 in SSC play.
Amanda Voges is leading the way as she has 57 points on the season. She has netted 47 goals and dished out 10 assists on the season. Natalie Carraway has served as the offensive catalyst, as she has dished out a team leading 17 assists on the season.
Amanda Rom leads the team in draw controls, as she has won 96, while picking up 25 groundballs. Amanda Parker leads the team in groundballs with 30.
Megan Asper is igniting the Florida Southern offense as she has put in 55 goals, while Caitlin Chase has distributed 48 assists.
This is the second ever meeting between the two, as the Mocs won last years matchup by a final of 19-5.
Game time is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
