TAMPA, Fla – The University of Tampa women's lacrosse team is scheduled to compete against Regis University (Colorado) at home on Tuesday night.
The Matchup: No. 13 University of Tampa (1-1) vs. No. 12 Regis University (2-0)

Series History: This is the second meeting between the two teams. The first meeting was on the same day March 1, 2019 in Denver, Colorado where UT lost 19-20 in overtime.
About the Spartans: The Spartans come into the game having lost a tough one against No. 10 Grand Valley State. That game, they were without their star player Cece Colombo after she was out the game after her second yellow card penalty. Madison Birch led that game with two goals. Tampa also had a season high of 18 turnovers. After last week's game, they'll look to redeem themselves in their matchup against Regis University.
About the Rangers: The Rangers come into this matchup winning their first two games of the season. In their last game against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Kyleigh Peoples led the team with seven goals and Bailey Truex was right behind her with four. They beat UCCS 18-4. The Rangers come into this meeting ranked No. 9 and anticipate another high-scoring game against UT.
