
#16 Tampa Makes Easy Work of Lander
GREENWOOD, SC – The University of Tampa women's lacrosse team cruises pass Lander on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Quarter: Tampa began the game on fire scoring early. Sarah Hinkle started the scoring for Tampa completing her first two goals within 20 seconds of each other. Lander responded with two goals of their own, but Tampa shut it down quickly. From there, Tampa got the ball rolling and dominated the rest of the quarter scoring 10 goals. The goals for the Spartans were scored as follows:

Second Quarter: The second quarter began the same way with Tampa speeding the game up. They ratcheted up the score with six different Spartans scoring this quarter. Their defense remained in control never allowing Lander to score. The goals for the Spartans were scored as follows:

Third Quarter: Madison Birch started the scoring this quarter allowing Tampa to increase their lead. Abby Hope scored her third goal of the season with an assist by Cece Colombo. Regardless of Tampa's defense stopping Lander the entire first half, Lander snuck one in around the five-minute mark. Despite that, Tampa never stopped scoring. The goals for the Spartans were scored as follows:

Fourth Quarter: Tampa started the quarter looking to close out Lander in the last 15 minutes. Georgia Glowaki opened the quarter with a goal, her second of the season. Tampa then kept it going scoring three more goals before the end of regulation prevailing over Lander. The goals for the Spartans were scored as follows:
