About the Spartans: The Spartans come into this matchup having beat No.16 Lynn in a comeback win clinching their third regular-season championship and claiming the No.1 seed in the tournament. After tying then being down going into halftime, the Spartans found a way to push through slowly taking away Lynn's lead and coming out with the win. Sarah Hinkle led that game with four goals and Alex Walling racked up 14 saves. The Spartans look to maintain their momentum in their matchup as they take on St. Leo and advance in the SSC Tournament, extending their win streak.
About the Lions: The Lions come into this game having upset No.17 Embry-Riddle to punch their ticket into the SSC Tournament with the No.4 seed. This will be St. Leo's first conference tournament appearance since 2015. Their game against Embry-Riddle was close, but the Lions got the edge over them before halftime putting them up by two.
