The Spartans got out in front early taking a huge lead of seven points at the end of the first. From there, the goal looked huge for the Spartans as they were sinking almost every shot they were attempting. Multiple Spartans contributed to the team's in. Sarah Hinkle led the team with a new season-high of six goals while Lizzie Pierpont was right behind her with four goals. Julia Kolderman led the team with four assists, Alyssa Romano led with four groundballs and Erin McLoughlin with five draw controls. The Spartans look to continue their dominance against a Top 10 opponent on their home turf.
About the Tars: The Tars also come into this matchup after returning to the winning column after defeating Lynn on their home field. Lynn opened the game scoring but the Tars quickly answered back.
