
Tampa Women's Lacrosse Set To Take on Mercy
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The University of Tampa women's lacrosse team is set to play Mercy on Thursday, March 7.

About the Spartans: Tampa has dropped two straight games after a home loss to No. 2 Adelphi and most recently an away loss to No. 1 Pace. The Spartans will look to get back in the win column on Thursday when they face Mercy. Senior, Sarah Hinkle leads the team in goals with 16 averaging 4 goals per game. Peyton Howell and Gracie Colombo are tied for the second most goals on the team with nine scored. Tampa will look to get their offense back on track after just two second-half goals were scored in the team's previous game. UT averaged 27 goals per game after its first two matchups and just 5.5 goals in its last two. History is on the Spartans' side heading into the matchup having never lost to the Mavericks.
