
Spartans Set to Face Chargers
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's lacrosse team looks to remain undefeated all-time versus Alabama-Huntsville and win its fourth straight game.
The Matchup: No. 5 University of Tampa (5-2, 0-0 SSC) vs. Alabama-Huntsville (7-2, 0-0 GSC)

Series History: The Spartans are 6-0 all-time versus the Chargers. UT defeated UAH a season ago away from home, 19-3.
About the Spartans: The University of Tampa women's lacrosse team has won its previous three games heading into the matchup. The Spartans have reeled off three consecutive wins over Mercy, Kutztown, and most recently Lee in which the team has not allowed more than 11 goals over the three-game span. Tampa is coming off a 22-11 home win over Lee where the team scored 22 plus goals for the third time in seven games this season. Jenna Myhal, Peyton Howell, Sophi Wrisk, and Sarah Hinkle each recorded hat tricks and will be relied upon versus UAH.
About the Chargers: The Chargers come into the matchup with a 7-2 overall record and have recorded 19 plus goals in four consecutive games. UAH's two losses have come against SSC opponents, Rollins and Florida Southern. The Chargers are rolling and are currently on a four-game win streak after defeating and shutting out Malone at Charger Park, 21-0. Despite the four-game win streak, Alabama-Huntsville remains unranked. The Chargers have totaled 149 goals and are led by Isadora Springer, Sarah Cole, Kourtney Bauroth, and Noelle Coleman who have all tallied 20 goals or more this season.
