
Women's Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's lacrosse program has announced the team's schedule for the upcoming 2025 season which features seven home games at Naimoli Family Athletic and Intramural Complex.
Tampa's schedule includes 10 different opponents who finished last year's campaign ranked inside the IWLCA top 25, four of which finished inside of the top 10. With UT set to face both Rollins and Florida Tech twice in 2025, the program will have 12 of its 16 games this season versus opponents who finished ranked in 2024.
The defending National Champions will open the 2025 slate on the road on February 8 in Winter Park, Florida, against Sunshine State Conference foe Rollins. A week later, the Spartans will continue their two-game road stretch, traveling to St. Louis to take on Maryville on February 15.
Following a return to the Sunshine State, Tampa will host Adelphi for its home opener on February 22 at 5pm in what will be a rematch of the 2024 National Championship game. The matchup versus Adelphi at home will serve as a red out for all Spartan fans. To cap off February, the team will travel to Harrogate, Tennessee to face Lincoln Memorial on February 27.
The Spartans will remain on the road to begin the month of March, traveling to Cleveland, Tennesse to face Lee and then to Melbourne, Florida for a matchup with Florida Tech. Tampa will play a total of seven games in March and kick off a four-game homestand on March 13 versus UIndy. On March 16, the team will play Mercy in what will be a Morgan's Message dedication game, and just three days later the Spartans will host Pace.
Sunshine State Conference play will commence on March 26 when Tampa welcomes rival Florida Southern to Naimoli. The rivalry game will serve as the team's Stand As One game for the season. The Spartan's second SSC fixture will be on the road against Embry-Riddle on March 29 to close out the month.
Rollins will travel to Tampa on April 2 for the second meeting of the season. Tampa will have a Military Appreciation Day on the night of the game. Coach Kelly Gallagher and the team will play two consecutive games away from Naimoli at Florida Tech (4/5) and Saint Leo (4/9) before returning home to face Lynn. Tampa will honor its seniors in the team's final home regular season contest on April 12 versus Lynn. Their final regular season game will be played on the road at Palm Beach Atlantic (4/15).
All SSC Tournament matchups will be held at campus sites beginning April 19.
The 2025 NCAA Final Four will be in Salem, Virginia. Semifinals are set for May 22 with the championship on May 24.
