Four Spartans Receive USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Status
TAMPA, Fla - Tampa has four players garner USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American nods. Peyton Howell and Lexi Waters received First Team honors while Isabella Avila was named Third Team, and Savvy Barbosa was Honorable Mention.
USA Lacrosse named its NCAA Division II women's All-Americans on Friday, recognizing the top players in the country in 2025.
Thirty-six schools are represented in this year's list. Maryville, with five All-Americans, leads the nation with the most players selected. West Chester and Tampa, perhaps the two teams considered the heaviest favorites to win the NCAA Division II crown, each have four.
Tampa and West Chester are joined by Florida Southern as teams with two first-team selections, as the first team's 14 players are representatives of 11 different teams.
