Tampa Rowing Announces Tryout Date

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa rowing team has announced that its first practice will be held on Wed., Sept. 8. at the UT Boathouse. Participation is limited to current UT students only.

The practice will be from 4 to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday. Those interested do not need to do anything in advance. Please wear shorts, a t-shirt and athletic shoes as the practice will conclude by 5:30 p.m.

No previous rowing experience is needed. The crew club serves as a way for beginners to learn the intercollegiate sport of rowing.

Those with no previous rowing experience will need to participate in the club before trying out for the intercollegiate team.
