Tampa Completes Fall Season With Pair of Medals
AUGUSTA, Ga. - The University of Tampa rowing team had a pair of boats medal at the annual Head of the South race.
The women's Lightweight 4 took first-place with a time of 18:07. With Amelia Herschede as its coxswain, the rowers included Meagan Hoffman, Rhianna Seferian, Maddie Davidoff and Maxie-Lew Dunn.
UT's Women's Pair then turned in a third-place performance after being timed at 20:19. The pair included Stephanie Pascual and Stephanie Brouwer.
The Spartans were also fourth in the Women's Championship 4, being clocked at 18:38. With a coxswain of Izzy Donabed, the team included Stephanie Pascual, Taylor Pecci, Grace Maldonado and Stephanie Brouwer.
The Women's Club 4 also raced to a 16th-place showing and time of 19:16. Donabed was the coxswain as Erin Townsend, Jessica Yetman, Taylor Pecci and Anna VanBenschoten made up the boat.
