Rowing Among Teams at SIRA Championships
Spartans register successful finishes at annual event.
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – The University of Tampa rowing team competed over the weekend at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) championships.

Top Performers
- Stephanie Brouwer was third in the Women's 1x Final, finishing with a time of 8:57.008.
- In the Women's 2, the duo of Mary Grace Duethman and Taylor Pecci were third after finishing the event with a time of 9:03.782.
- The Spartans were second with a time of 8:14.047 in the Women's Lightweight Novice 4+.
- A third-place finish was recorded in the Women's Novice 4+, as UT had a time of 9:41.611.
UP NEXT:
Tampa will race at the 2017 Sunshine State Conference Championships on April 28. The event will take place at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
