
Tampa Rowing Competes at FIRA Championships
SARASOTA, Fla. - The University of Tampa rowing team was back in action on Friday and Saturday, competing at the FIRA Championships at Nathan Benderson Park.
The Spartans double of Kayli Antons and Lily Fridl placed sixth overall, finishing the race in a time of 8:36.56.
Tampa's pair included Rachel Dewey and Emily Calarco, finishing sixth in a time of 9:25.70.
In the F/N 4, UT was fifth overall as the team of Paige Rockwood, Kiersten Dupriest, Jenna Manning and Daleigh Johnson-Pawlak as the coxswain was Meghan Evans.
The Varsity 4 for Tampa also competed, as the boat included Eliana Maheo, Anna McSwain, Jessica Mason and Mia Lawrence, The Spartans coxswain was Taylor Nagel.
Tampa returns to action on April 15-16 at the SIRA Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
