Tampa Rowing Opens Season With Varsity 4 Win

MAITLAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa rowing team opened its spring season at the Tars Regatta, which was hosted by Rollins College at Lake Maitland.

Tampa claimed a first place finish in the Varsity 4, with a winning time of 7:22. The fastest boat was made up of Jenna Manning, Eve Mundok, McKenna VanOveren, Rowan Shanahan and Katie D'Amico.

The Spartans also competed in the Novice 4, with a time of 7:55 credited to Lilli Cavanagh, Grace Davis, Sofia Daddona, Malina Wandtke and Kyleigh Thorne.
