Spartans Fall to 22nd in Newest Poll
MISSION, Kans. - The University of Tampa women's soccer team slipped to 22nd in the nation in the recent NSCAA/adidas top-25 poll, which was released Tuesday. The Spartans were previously the third ranked team in the nation.
After opening the season as the fourth ranked team in the preseason poll, the Spartans have been ranked as high as number two this season. UT has now been ranked in 34 consecutive top-25 polls.
UT is also ranked third in the South Region, in a tie with Nova Southeastern and behind Saint Leo and West Florida.
