Tampa Women’s Soccer Participates in Third Community Engagement Event of Semester
TAMPA, Fla. - On Friday, the University of
Tampa women's soccer team went back to Primrose School in its final
community engagement event of the semester.
The girls were split into two groups of five people and each group
was placed into a classroom. Each class was given a banner of
either the UT logo or the Primrose Logo.
Members of the UT team were assigned an activity to assist the kids
in drawing, "What they want to be when they grow up." The Pre-K
class worked on the UT Logo, and the Kindergarten class worked on
the Primrose Logo, which when finished the school hung it up in
their main entrance for all to see.
"The kids had so much fun talking with the girls, and like always
UTWS had a great time," says assistant coach Brittan Spence.
UT women's soccer will also participate in the Relay For Life this
semester.
