Spartans Send Off Seniors With Victory Over Lions
TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Spartans women's soccer team hosted the Saint Leo Lions Wednesday night at Pepin Stadium, and emerged victorious 2-0 after the final whistle.
The First half of play was back and forth, as both sides pushed the other to the edge looking to pull ahead. The Spartans would prevail as senior Cici Gonzalez notched the first goal of the affair at the 35-minute mark putting her side ahead 1-0 just before the half.

Finally, at the 70-minute mark Korey O'Rourke took a pass from Gabby Scirica and fired home a shot that put the game out of reach, extending Tampa's lead to 2-0.
