TAMPA, FL. – The University of Tampa women's soccer team rallied back at home to defeat Colorado Christian University

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: Tampa would get their best opportunities early on to start the game off, as Katherine Hostage would make the keeper pull off a great save off a header from a corner. Tampa would continue the pressure up and continue making the Cougars keeper into some saves, until Colorado Christian would open the game off with a strike from outside the box to make it 1-0. A breakaway for the Spartans would result in a penalty, as Sophie Shrader would step up to make the game level. Score: 1-1 Tied
SECOND HALF: Tampa would continue with their forward pressure in the second half, as the Spartans would continue to win the battle in the midfield. As Tampa would find the back of the net, with a cross from Hostage finding Madison McElhone to put Spartans infront 2-1. The Spartans defense would stay strong until the very end. Score: 2-1 Tampa
