HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF:
The Spartans took quite a long time to get a rhythm going. However, the pace remained leveled as the Spartans regained the control of possessions as their total shots on target were five compared to the Sailfish's one. | 0-0 (Draw)
SECOND HALF:
The Spartans doubled their shot attempts in the second half with 10 and continued to create more opportunities. Such opportunities allowed Stephanie DeLaForcade to score a penalty in the 70th minute. From then on, the Spartans controlled the pace of the game, or so they thought. With five minutes remaining, Alayna Gonel of PBA scored off a beautiful shot at the top of the box to equalize the match. | 1-1 (Draw)
