HOW IT HAPPENED:

FIRST HALF: Both teams would start off going back and forth while they tried to break past the others back line. Forwards from both teams would try to break an attack but both defenses would stay strong. The difference would be a corner scored by Florida Southern, which was almost cleared off the line by the Spartans. Score: 1-0 Florida Southern

SECOND HALF: Tampa would look to create opportunities for a goal in the second half, going through forward Katherine Hostage. They would struggle to find the back of the net, trying to break past the Florida Southern back line. Another set piece from a corner would find the Mocs doubling their lead in the 88th minute. Score: 2-0 Florida Southern
