
Another Cleansheet In The Books After A 4-0 Win Against St. Edward's
TAMPA, Fla. - It is another cleansheet for the No. 25 University of Tampa Spartans as they handed St. Edward's University Hilltoppers their first loss of the season. The victory for Tampa extends their unbeaten streak to four matches, making this the most shutouts to start a season since 2013.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: Tampa quickly took control of the game, scoring two goals to secure a comfortable lead. Madison McElhone opened the scoring for Tampa in the 26th minute with an unassisted goal. This was followed by Tali O'Leary's goal in the 34th minute, assisted by Mimi Cronquist. Tampa dominated the first half, with eight shots compared to St. Edward's one.
SECOND HALF: In a similar fashion, Tampa extended their lead to secure the victory. Cronquist scored her second goal of the season in the 71st minute, assisted by Nellie Bryneus. Just moments later, Bryneus got on the scoresheet herself, scoring Tampa's fourth goal in the 72nd minute, with an assist from O'Leary. St. Edward's struggled to create scoring opportunities throughout the match, managing only five shots in total, with four of them on target. Tampa's defense was solid, allowing only four shots on goal and keeping a clean sheet.
